Carla's influences include:
Gustav Klimpt
Henri Rousseau
David Hockney
John Hoyland
and her grandmother,
Barbara Eryl Vize

Carla grew up in the New Forest in the South of England. From an early age she was fascinated by nature's vibrant palette, the rich variety of flora and fauna, and the subtle changes of light and texture.

Over the last ten years Carla has built her reputation as a leading floral and wildlife artist in the UK with exhibitions in venues from Southampton to York.

She has also been a featured artist at the Affordable Arts Fair in London and her large floral paintings and commissions are now held in private collections in the UK and across Europe.

Her body of work includes both traditional paintings and, following the lead of such art luminaries as David Hockney, an increasing number of stunning digital works.

In her spare time she can often be found walking Fergus, her 3-year-old Irish Terrier.
